We avoid presenting one venue, crowd or matchday custom as representative of all sporting places. If a detail remains uncertain, we say so or leave it out.

Independence and corrections

Editorial decisions are made for the reader, not for a partner or advertiser. We do not promise favourable coverage in return for support. If a published piece contains a material error, readers can contact us through the Contact page; we review the concern and correct the record when warranted.

Partner material and illustrations

Material created with a partner, paid placements and other commercial content are clearly labelled so readers can distinguish them from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when used, they are identified as such and are not presented as documentary photographs.
